The New Jersey State Youth Orchestra (NJSYO) is a non-profit organization in residence at the Middletown Arts Center in Middletown, New Jersey. This season we will offer Preparatory String Orchestra (PSO), Intermediate String Orchestra (ISO), Symphonic Youth Orchestra (SYO) and Chamber Ensemble, Students 2nd -12th grade are welcome to audition based on eligibility.

String players grades 2 or higher
String players; grades 6-9Students should be taking private lessons or be a member of their school orchestra.
Strings, Winds, Brass, Percussion students; grades 9 and higherStudents should be taking private lessons.
Members must be at least 13 years old, or at least in the 8th grade
